World coffee day on 1st October, IEI launches the new international brand to recognize Italian espresso

International Coffee Day. Every year on October 1st, the world comes together to celebrate coffee and recognize millions of people around the world – from farmers, roasters, baristas, bar owners and more – the hard I work to create and serve the drink we all love. The initiative, which reaches its fifth year with 2019, is promoted by the International Coffee Organization.

The new professions: coffee taster

La Nazione on 10 September 2019: also in Florence there are courses, organized by Jolly Caffè, which are recognized by the International Institute of Coffee Tasters. There are theoretical lessons to learn how to distinguish the different blends and then we move on to the practical part to learn how to taste.

Mukky Day 2019

Sunday, September 8, 2019, for one day the Milk Plant of Tuscany turns into “Mukkiladia”. Disposable plastic consumables are completely absent and, in collaboration with Alia, educational activities will take place regarding the recycling, reuse and correct disposal of Mukki packaging, all recyclable and coming from mainly renewable sources.
